The Sagra della Ficattola di Impruneta came to the 14th edition and takes place along two weekends: the 4/5/6 and the 12/11/13 may 2018. The Ficattola, the fried bread dough and salt is a typical product and well loved in the province of Florence and for this reason, the commune of Impruneta has decided to dedicate a Festival.
Piazza accursius (known as Piazza Nova) in Impruneta is the scenario where the party: the afternoon watering: ficattole are distributed to the bag and in the evening you can have dinner at the food stalls that offer a different menu every night. The different evenings are alive with music and entertainment for young and old.
The rite of Ficattola takes off Friday 4 may at 20.30 and Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 continues from 16.30. The same goes for the weekend which runs from Friday 11 to Saturday 13 May.
