Villa Basilica is one of the few places that was the scene of clashes the historic medieval battles. However, her story makes very charming this country that ties its fortunes to the Medici family. Crafts is a a distinctive feature of the territory. The iron works is proof, being the most ancient tradition. The other is that of wood, of which you can have trace through the pews of the Church of San Jacopo e Ginese, dating back to 1500.
