The Valtiberina, also known as the upper Alta Valle del Tevere is a valley in Tuscany known for its beautiful parks and medieval villages.

This Valley is notoriously linked to three important figures: figure of Piero della Francesca, born in the town of Sansepolcro, the figure of San Francesco who repeatedly crossed the Valley to reach the sanctuary of La Verna and figure Michelangelo Buonarroti was born in Caprese Michelangelo from which the municipality took the name.
The Valtiberina is drawn by the river Tevere and extends along Tuscany and Umbria.
