Val d'Elsa is an area in the Valley of the river Elsa, a tributary of the River Arno running through the low hills where are farms and crops of the highest quality. The medieval villages found inland, filled with historic buildings from high cultural value, enrich the entire area.

Typical
The Prosciutto Toscano DOP is one of the leading products of the territory, coming from San Gimignano, this typical Tuscan sliced stands out for its aroma and flavour. Other typical salami is Finocchiona flavored thanks to fennel seeds. Flavors that can be accompanied by a glass of Vernaccia, the first Italian to receive the white wine -controlled denomination of origin label.
