The season opens with "Ezra in gabbia", a show about man's obsessions, written and directed by Leonardo Petrillo with Mariano Rigillo and Anna Teresa Rossini. The opera season opens with De Angelis' "Barber of Seville", followed by a double tribute to Giacomo Puccini with "La Rondine" and the historic ""Bohème" by Cristina Mazzavillani Muti. There is also a debut in opera for Milo Manara who draws the scenes of "Così fan tutte".
The Prose Season

The Teatro Metastasio in Prato as always reserves a program full of interesting contents, starting from "Il capitale" by Enrico Baraldi and Nicola Borghesi, to "Ferdinando", by Annibale Ruccello and staged by the director Arturo Cirillo, up to the famous "Waiting for Godot", the work by Beckett brought to the stage by the Greek director Theodoros Terzopoulos.
