The passion, the Union and the commitment of the inhabitants of Pontassieve are the beating heart of the Wine Festival which is celebrated every year between late May and early June.
To be celebrated is the territory, local culture and typical Tuscan products belonging to the area of Val di Sieve, land softly drawn from the banks of the river Sieve and Arno just steps from Florence. Now in its 49th Edition (2018), the Toscanello d'Oro has its roots in the culture and tradition of Tuscany.
The associations and commercial farms and farms that will fill with warmth the streets of the old town of Pontassieve. The Medici bridge, striking location from which the Festival, as well as 14TH Martyrs Square hosts food stands, exhibitions and conferences. Many wineries open in very extraordinary to offer wine tasting Sangiovese and Chianti Rufina, typical of this region.
But the Toscanello d'Oro is also an opportunity for fun and games for the little ones who will be delighted by irreverent shows. To accompany the magic and tradition of this festival there are a series of concerts with a rich variety of sounds. While for lovers of sports and photography are offered guided tours of the Alpine Club, exhibitions of photography and cycling tourists to discover the Val di Sieve.
