Grifi

Traditional dish of Arezzo

The Grifi, culinary tradition of Arezzo almost unknown to the younger generation, are nothing but the thin parts and calloused of the snout of the calf that once cleaned and cut into small pieces are put to cook in a pan with wine White and smells of the garden.

The Tuscan cuisine is based on simple ingredients but tasty, the Grifi, simple dish but tasty are an example. This yummy dish also has a "street version" in which it is served in a bed of Tuscan bread, following the example of the sandwich with lampredotto fiorentino.
