The Feriae Matricularum Senensium are the light hearted senese active continuously since 1945. The student spirit is one of the most deeply rooted traditions of the city of the Palio and is a hymn to life to friendship and solidarity. The word Goliardo denotes both the person the different headdress for color according to graduate school.
The Feriae Matricularum Senensium undemocratic institution, are riotous reserved exclusively for male students, founded on stamps. Stamps indicate seniority universitaria which entitles you to steer younger students. The sovereignty belongs to the Princeps, the Prince who exercises it as he pleases.
The Feriae Matricularum lasts the entire year taking part in traditional events such as the Festival of greetings, Mardi Gras and the acclamation and fill the streets of Siena of joy with their songs.
You define Feriae Matricularum even the days of festivities that take place in the month of may, during which are made the Carciofata, the Liberatio Scholarum, representation for three evenings of Riotous, selling Unique number Operetta and other events decided by the reigning Prince.
