From Wednesday 27 June to Thursday 27 September 2018 the Chinese National Academy of painting is a promoter of contemporary Chinese Textile art exhibition.
The exhibition, held within the two large spaces on the first floor of the Museo del Tessuto di Prato, intends to present to the public a selection of Italian works of fiber art from the best Chinese art schools.
The materials used to make the various works are silk, wool, silk, cotton that each artist worked according to their taste and sensitivity. Some installations are combined with other materials such as wax, metal and bamboo in order to give life to the true and great-looking sculptures.
