The Agriturismo Fattoria La Striscia, owned by the Occhini family since the 18thcentury, sits in the Aretine Hills just 900 meters from the town of Arezzo.

Built in 1500 it was then expanded in 1700 and restored in the last century by Count Pier Ludovico Occhini. The picturesque landscape surrounding the Villa evokes the landscapes of the paintings of Raphael and Piero della Francesca.

The estate, shrouded in a strictly familiar and intimate atmosphere is run by Alexandra La Capria, daughter of the well-known theatre and television actress, Ilaria Occhini, along with her husband Mete Nisari, a prominent successful architect in Istanbul. Together they restored and trasformed the farm in 4 apartments and 3 suites with a refined taste and full of charm.

The exterior of the Villa creates a continuum with the green hills of the Aretino. The 16th-century architecture garden is adorned with tubs, oriental plants and has a greenhouse with a Liberty-style door inside.

The farmhouse offers its customers interesting and original experiences, including dinners with live music at the restaurant, Alexandra Loft; a visit to the winery and tasting of wines and local products.
