Spighe Toscane It is a company born from the passion of its founders of the "ancient grains" in 2017. It is situated in Bagno a Ripoli, Florence.
It all began with the organic farm of Antella Monna Giovannella located near Florence, in which she immediately entered a deal with the newly founded Spighe Toscane to share projects and ideas.
Spighe Toscane is committed daily in search of the best raw materials and works in harmony with nature. It is focused on growing a variety of ancient grains, namely processed wheat varieties that were produced until the first half of 20th century. These saw a resurgence due to the health benefits and increased digestibility of nutrients in these grains.
Thanks to the commitment and enthusiasm of this young company it was possible to achieve their first objective: to create a line of all-natural and organic products of the highest quality known as "Monna Giovannella" including flours, biscuits, beans, pasta and beer.
