Traditions
In Sorano are practised in traditional form the ancient crafts of yesteryear.
Respecting the origins, some craftsmen still practice the art of woodwork, gold and textiles. Some local shops sell these precious artifacts that keep the village in contact with the fascinating costumes of yesteryear.
Typical products
In addition to traditional "tortelli maremmani", egg pasta with a heart filled with fresh ricotta and spinach, in Sorano are many dishes and sweets.
The "pici", handmade noodles and more robust details that are seasoned with a tasty wild boar ragout.
The cialdino dei tufi, a crispy wafer thin aniseed, sugar and prepared by mixing the flour and sweet wine.
