THE MUNICIPALITY LIES ON THE SLOPES OF MONTE MORELLO
The birth of the municipality of Sesto Fiorentino near rivers Rimaggio and Zambra is traced back to 1869. Researches show that though has been inhabited since the Mesolithic and the graves in the locality Palastreto testify to the presence of the Etruscans in these lands; While the Roman date back water works and reclamation and construction of the aqueduct.
