Seravezza Blues Festival this year will satisfy the large audience of fans of blues music.
Despite the event being only the Fourth Edition has already established itself as an important event for the Italian blues scene.
The beautiful town in the province of Lucca became a landmark for connoisseurs of quality music and participate in the Festival is also an opportunity to discover this village in Versilia that preserves a beautiful Palazzo Mediceo recently became a Unesco World Heritage site.
The blues is a popular African-American music source that was created at the beginning of 1800. Simple yet expressive forms of the blues were in ' 60, necessary for the development of popular music in the United States.
The blues, in fact, influenced many other musical styles. Blues and jazz are closely related and great weight has had on rock music. Many British musicians, notably the Rolling Stones and Eric Clapton have been heavily influenced by the blues, as were many rock bands.

In past editions of the event included artists of great international importance as Serbia's Ana Popovic, Mc Kinley Moore Big Band, Guitar Crusher and the Magic Bones and Tom Blacksmith.
As always inside the Blues' Village you can enjoy real ales and traditional versiliana. There is also the space devoted to the sale of musical instruments with the participation of Luthiers from around the Italy.
In particular, the 2018 Edition sees a great novelty, the duration of the event increases by one day than the previous editions. The Seravezza Blues Festival 2018 takes away Friday 20 and ends Sunday, July 22. The program is particularly interesting: Dan Nash, Nick Becattini and The Magic Bones make a tribute to the great Blues Brothers while the Sunday evening will star Zac Harmon, musician-myth of rhythm & American blues.
