Mushrooms are a resource of the territory of the Montagna Pistoiese, fruit of rich wooded area that extends across much of this area. Usually collected during the winter, the mushrooms spring up in areas with high humidity, helped by the cool of the mountains and the Sun of this part of Tuscany.
Pistoia mountains becomes a mix of intense flavors, intoxicating scents, culture and tradition involving the customs of the past.
