The Azienda Agricola Poggio Regini di Rossi Maurizio nestled in the hills of Chianti, was founded in 1969 by intuition by Rodolfo Rossi and Bruno Boccacci.
Located among the fertile hills of the town of Castellina in Chianti, in a plot of approximately 23 hectares, of which 11 are cultivated with vines and other mixed arable land, the company is engaged in the production of high quality wines. As per tradition , "the art of wine" at Poggio Regini was handed down from father to son, from 1993 in fact management is passed to Manuele Rossi, son of Rodolfo and nephew of Bruno, and to his son Maurizio.
The passion for this ancient trade and the desire to create genuine products of excellence has led to an expansion of farm land which has been enriched with two hectares of land cultivated with olive trees and seven hectares of vineyards.
The wines of cantina Poggio Regini, arise in respect of the territory in which they are born, both from the point of view of production. The company's flagship range from Chianti Classico DOCG Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG, true excellence of the territory, but interesting to see also the IGT: In Vino Veritas, white wine of Poggio Regini 50% Malvasia – 50% Trebbiano; Divino Pensiero IGT, the firstborn of the company Sangiovese 95% – 5% Canaiolo; RM Amori Rossi IGT, from 100% Sangiovese grapes.
The Azienda Agricola Poggio Regini, also offers the opportunity to its visitors to experience a tasting journey to discover the products of the House, with a tour of the premises and the vineyards.
