Every autumn publishers, writers, translators, Italian and foreign illustrators will meet at Pisa to the national book exhibition dedicated to independent publishing houses of Italy, Pisa Book Festival.
From 9 to 11 November, the Congress Palace of Pisa is the perfect place where the public can meet their favorite authors, while for publishers a unique platform to promote themselves, acquire new business opportunities and discuss of ideas and innovation.
Among the guests of the 2018 Edition, Tiziano Scarpa, strega Prize for his novel Stabat Mater and the Spanish authors Dolores Redondo, Rosa Montero and Lorenzo Silva just to name a few; This year the Spain will be the country of honour at the Book Festival.
One of days of culture and creativity, among the novelties to report in this year's Edition the section on poetry with a tribute to two great composers Garcia Lorca and Leonard Cohen.
Confirmed as always however, free master classes in creative writing, writing publicity and literary translation, and section Made in Tuscany curated by Vanni Santoni.
The Pisa Book Festival is conceived and directed by Lucia and promoted and supported by the Tuscany region, the commune of Pisa and Pisa Foundation.
