Sunday 6 July 2018 will host the 63rd Edition of the Palio dei Micci in Querceta, Lucca.
The event, founded on 18 April 1956, provides for a race between "Micci", that are donkeys, in which competing eight districts: Lucertola, Madonnina, Leon d’Oro, Cervia, Ponte, Pozzo, Quercia and Ranocchio.
Before the competition every year there is a costume parade which parade flag bearers and musicians in the schools of the place.
As usual, the winners of the Palio will celebrate with carousels of cars that will depart from all quarters.
