The "nana con i sedani" is a traditional dish that is done in Figline Valdarno on the occasion of the feast of pardon in September. For those not Tan you must know that "nana" is for duck, the main ingredient of this tasty dish of Valdarno.
Preparation of the "nana" is not complex but requires a long cooking time.
Besides the duck the ingredients needed are different: a few stalks of celery, egg, onion, garlic, tomato puree and red wine. The whole thing needs a baking of about 2-3 hours after which the dish is ready to satisfy the most demanding palate.
