A VILLAGE SURROUNDED BY MEDIEVAL VILLAGES
Molazzana positioned in the heart of Garfagnana, between the Valley of the Serchio River and the mountains of Pania della Croce. The proximity to the mountains characterizes the lush forested with beech and chestnut woods, where you can go for fresh spending time outdoors.
The village owes its development to the Republic of Lucca and the Este family, who built a Castle around the 15th century still visible today. The framework construction led the surroundings of the village to have a medieval charm that can be seen enjoying a visit to this garden of Garfagnana.
