On 15 and 16 September 2018 Barberino Val d'Elsa is preparing to live the tenth edition of "Memoriae et Historiae di Semifonte". The start of the holiday will be Saturday at 17:00 with a medieval wedding celebrated in the village church and celebrated by a procession in costume.
The event commemorates the siege and fall of Semifonte, a city in the Middle Ages was opposed to the Florentine Republic.
During the event there will be numerous artists, flag bearers, musicians and jugglers to relive the medieval atmosphere, also assured the outdoor Tavern in via Vittorio Veneto to relive the banquet facilities at the time.
The entrance is free on both days.
