In Certaldo (FI), from March 9 to 25 each Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the month will be held the 25th Edition of the marzuolo truffle festival, white truffle species whose name derives from the month favored for its collection.
Organized since 1992 by farlower Valdelsa hills truffle hunters Association, the menu of the Festival gives ample space to the numerous Tuscan specialties, focused on the unmistakeable aroma of the precious tuber. Off to toasted polenta with truffle, truffle carpaccio, truffle tagliolini many savory dishes with good local wine; cantuccini and Vin Santo, the Tuscan tradition, instead, to end on a sweet note.
The stalls will be located at the premises of the Municipal multipurpose centre ' Antonino Caponnetto (pool area – Viale Matteotti) and will be open every evening on Saturday for dinner and Sunday also for lunch.
