The 2018 Edition of "Premio Porcellino" the was won by the master of the Florentine mosaic, Bruno Lastrucci. An important gala dinner capped the ceremony, which took place under the Loggia del Mercato Nuovo in the centre of Florence, on 17 September.
The evening was organized by the Association of Porcellino market in collaboration with Confesercenti and the city of Florence.
Bruno Lastrucci, along with his son Iacopo, are considered among the most famous artists in the world of Florentine mosaic. In their artistic workshop in via de Macci in Florence, the master kept alive the tradition of this wonderful art, ancient techniques are the same ones used in the Medici era.
