The Lucca Summer Festival is a musical event that takes place in July, with a capacity for 20 years some of the best national and international artists. To embellish this traditional event, the enchanting surroundings in the heart of Lucca, within the historic city walls, between the charm and tradition of one of the most beautiful cities of Tuscany.
Since 1998 have trod the stages of Piazza Napoleone, Piazza San Martino, Piazza dell'anfiteatro and the big names that have made the history of music: Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan and David Bowie, and the Oscar winner Ennio Morricone.
Twenty years of music and emotions made the chief town of Lucchesia a magical place where you can spend fun-filled days only, a must to visit Lucca and its charming old town.
The Lucca Summer Festival has been able to follow the trends of the moment, riuscendosi to update and coming up with different genres they were able to collect a large audience with classical music, rock, pop. Impressive numbers for one of the most anticipated Tuscan edition and that in 2017 has registered the record of 55,000 spectators for the Rolling Stones concert.
