Lucca Comics & Games is also confirmed in 2018 as the main European festival devoted to comics, games, movies and video games. Back to animate the historic center of the city with exhibitions from 13 October to 4 November and with the festival from October 31 to November 4 2018.
The numbers speak for themselves
It is the largest cross media show that from 1966 celebrates pop culture. About 500,000 visitors in total, over 40,000 square meters of exhibition space, 20 exhibitions, more than 500 events between meetings with authors and publishers, shows and concerts.
After the success of previous editions back theMovie with appointments, many meetings and events focusing on movies and tv series to be released in 2019.
Sky Italy (official broadcaster) will be at Lucca Comics & Games with a Pavilion dedicated to the titles of the moment as the crimes of glimmer, Gomorrah – the series, House of Cards and game of Thrones.
Netflix also will present a preview of the much-anticipated series Narcos: Mexico.
The 52nd Edition hosts a special event: the celebration of 10 years of Marvel Studios. From 31 October to 4 November will be held November 1, Marvel-themed screenings will be presented all the latest blockbuster movie next year.
While the official Italian cosplayer gathering will take place in Piazza San Michele in Lucca on Saturday 3 November.
The Made in Italy in the center of Lucca Comics & Games
The main theme and slogan 2018 is Made in Italy. Was chosen to emphasize how in Lucca are celebrated talents, the authors of comics, games and video games that carry the world creativity and innovation all Italian.
