Lucca Comics is the international festival of comics, illustration, game and animation cinema in Europe and the second largest in the world, which takes place every year between October and November in Lucca. Born in 1966 as a party devoted to the steam, the Lucca Comics becomes a world renowned event since 1993 involving the entire city and managing to grow exponentially much to boast of over 500,000 people in recent years.
