The Gota is a particular bagged prepared by hand by experts of cured meat and Colle Val d'Elsa. Local product, of ancient origin, which takes its name from the part of the pork that is used for its preparation: the cheek.
La Gota have a rounded shape, only, which makes it different from other products of the Tuscan sausage factory. A local product, of ancient origin, with a processing which respects the traditional recipe that starts from preparation of pork cheeks, toscano "gote". The pieces of meat are arranged on wooden planks, Add salt for seasoning, and then hung in rooms with a temperature controlled.
The Gota is produced from September to June, in denominations of 500 gr and its long shelf life allows you to enjoy all year round, accompanied by fresh slices of Tuscan bread and a glass of red wine.
