Il Desco Sapori e Saperi in Mostra is the traditional event of Lucchesia that mixes good food and culture; an exciting moment of encounter between the scents of Earth and the experience of local producers is celebrated in November and December at the Real Collegio di Lucca.

Born for more than a decade to emphasize the typical products and the quality of their workmanship, Desco proposes howcooking, sensory workshops of taste and food and wine tours Tuscany and other regions of Italy. Il Desco is a reflection of a rich land that represents the most excellence made in Tuscany. It's flavors, with typical products of Lucca as the "Prosciutto Penitente" with chestnuts, the traditional "Pane di Altopascio" or Colline Lucchesi DOC and Montecarlo. It's tradition, with the recipes of pasta dishes with vegetables at km 0, tasty meat and traditional desserts.
