Fedeli Restauri, located within walking distance of the Centre of Florence, has been working for more than a century of restoration, conservation and enhancement of cultural heritage (historical, artistic, archaeological and architectural).
Working for Ministries, municipalities, regions, local authorities, museums, ecclesiastical and private, private collections in Italy and abroad.
Main feature of the Fedeli is the laboratory high competence in the various fields of restoration thanks to a long experience and a qualified team (restorers of cultural goods).
The workshop covers an area of approximately 2000 square meters and is divided into processing areas with specialized machinery.
Connoisseur art techniques, l' atelier is able to manage the different stages of preservation of a product in its entirety. Technical knowledge combines historical artistic ones carrying out consultancy work for museums, collectors, antique dealers, art experts.
The Fedeli lab creates a perfect combination of manual techniques handed down from ancient masters of the past, and the use of cutting-edge technologies like lasers for precision cuts and for the cleaning of stone surfaces, use of laser 3D, 3D reliefs scanners use of Photoshop, Autocad for designing and building software to apply to restoration.
With registered office in via Livorno 8/16 in Florence, the company also owns a laboratory internal microchimico can produce diagnostic investigations, ultraviolet, infrared photography, microchemical sections under the microscope.
Fedeli Restauri also uses diagnostic laboratories outside and works in collaboration with the CNR-National Research Centre.
Parallel to restoration deals with design and décor (modern style) having produced collections of independently or in collaboration with some of the leading contemporary architects: Ettore Sottsass Alessandro Mendini.
Fedeli Restauri, is responsible for: the restoration of frescoes and murals; restoration of paintings on canvas and on wood (painted surface and stand); washing, cleaning, restoration of stone materials (sculptures, moldings, columns, capitals, fountains, stone facings, bosses); restoration of mosaics, stucco, plaster, ceramic, porcelain, painted and glazed earthenware; realization of casts and copies of various materials; restoration wooden materials (sculptures, altars, choir, sacristy furniture carved and inlaid, choir, organ, coffered ceilings, floors, marquetry, frames, structures and architectural complements); treatment against parasites; restoration of bronze and metal alloys (sculptures, reliefs, scientific instruments); restoration of papier mâché, wax, ivory; restoration of contemporary art.
