The countdown has started: Sunday 23 September begins the Festa del Perdono in Terranuova Bracciolini.
They expected thousands of people to the event, which this year has reached 404th Edition, registering growing numbers.
The village of Terranuova, which has just over 12,000 inhabitants during the five days of party turns into a great city overrun with thousands of people from all over Italy.
The most anticipated event in the area of Arezzo has very ancient roots that go back to 1598.
Today the feast, known more commonly as the fair, is a great showcase for traders of the region which retains many aspects of tradition, like:
- the livestock show and the fair of decoy birds;
- the Fireworks;
- the big market with typical products and also international;
- Antiques Fair;
- that show of San Tito;
- the funfair.
Among the most anticipated of this year will be the marathon race "run per ... dono", a 5 km and 10 km and 18 locations, including non-competitive, valid for the Grand Prix 2018.
Friday 21 September at 20 there will be the official opening of the Festival, with traditional three casks greeting cards, with the opening of luna park in piazza Canevaro and with the opening of the exhibition "Valdarno Exposes", in viale Piave.
The event ends Thursday 27 September with the traditional Fireworks, Fireworks expected by young and old alike.
