IN THE HEART OF TUSCANY
Fauglia is located in the heart of some of the most beautiful areas of Tuscany, Valdera. The village is bordered by Val di Cecina and part of the Maremma in the North, and from the lower Valdarno South. The hilly terrain that characterizes it is due to its proximity to the Pisan hills.
The hamlet of Fauglia developed in the Middle Ages after the conquest of the Florentines against Pisa. Next, between the 17th and the 19th century, the old town was embellished, preserving even today many villas and the Chiesa di Santa Lucia in the hamlet of Luciana.
