HAMLET SURROUNDED BY GREENERY
Fabbriche di Vergemoli is a village in the countryside of the Garfagnana, halfway between the Apuan Alps Park and Lucca.
Its history is ancient, dating to the pre-Roman period, when for the first time trace of human presence in the territory. Vergemoli and Fabbriche di Vallico began to develop as centers starting from 1300 following the iron culture that was imported from some foreign families. From that moment on, the processing of iron from the Trimpello mines improved steadily.
Even today, the art of master craftsmen of the village is is stored in antique shops where you can observe several valuable artifacts.

The ancient art Made in Tuscany of master still exists today through the old shops, unique in conveying the fascination of ancient trade.
