This course is aimed at those who want to know the basics for the enamel decoration applied on metal focus. The course aims to provide participants with the knowledge and techniques of enamel with hands-on activities.
At the end of the course each participant will bring with it the object created.
Program
Characteristics of the various types of enamel and its components. Fire behavior and grades.
Enamel preparation: grinding, washing, purification.
Choice of suitable metals: characteristics of metal supports to receive the enamel and their alloys.
Types and structures of forms: necessary thickness to enamel in different techniques.
Preparation of metals: hammering, annealing, pickling, cleaning.
Application: enamelling techniques; laying of the glaze; controsmaltatura.
Baking and cooking and cooling times, finish, finishing.

Materials: semi finished in silver.
Tools: scissors and tweezers.
Price: 1 participant: 300 euro VAT included; from 2 to 5 participants: 200 euros tax included; from 6 participants: 150 euros VAT included.
