Coke through a straw short short

Main features of the Tuscan dialect

The Tuscan dialect is one of the dialects closest to the Italian. But there are still some discrepancies that give rise to the various vernaculars of Siena, Florence, Lucca, Livorno, Arezzo etc.

The quintessential feature of Tuscany is to get rid of the "C". In fact, all words beginning with "c", as the beloved/hated "coke through a straw short short" pardon the first letter. Often used are also the terms "dimorto" and "un monte" in place of much ("I'm dimorto happy"). Even the letter "G" is drawling like C.

The article "il" in Florence loses "l", so the phrase "I lost my brain" becomes "i lost my brain." Another peculiarity throughout Tuscany is to transform the GH in D, in fact ice becomes "diaccio". Not to mention father throughout Tuscany is the "babbo".

The Tuscans must affirm the Tuscan even when they say foreign words like: rumme for rum, bisse for bis.

Other Tuscan highlights are the use of "you" instead of "you" and "us" with "you" impersonal ("you go to eat, we go there"). Another thing that we really like is to remove the "-re" endlessly verbs. Possessive adjectives are abbreviated.
