BETWEEN HISTORY AND GOLDEN BEACHES
Of ancient origins, Cecina was inhabited in Etruscan and Roman times, in the locality of San Vincenzino can still be seen the remains of a Roman villa. From 1406 until the 18th century, the territory of Cecina was property of the Medici who built the first settlement. Today the town is a popular tourist destination for its village of Marina di Cecina, where you can enjoy the clear sea of the Costa degli Etruschi and the green pinewood that laps against the coast.
