
VILLAGE ALONG THE STRADA DEL VINO
The territory is inhabited since ancient times, this is testified by archaeological excavations have unearthed the remains of an Etruscan village in the 7th century. Castle and main centre of the area during the rule of the Gherardesca counts, then passed in 1406 under the control of Florence following its destiny.
