A VILLAGE DIVIDED BETWEEN SACRED ART AND NATURE
Badia Tedalda is located on the border with Marches and Emilia-Romagna between the Tiber Valley in Eastern Tuscany. Other points to visit the Chiesa di San Michele Arcangelo overlooking between the slopes of the surrounding mountains. Romanesque style building with a nave dates from the 11th century, in which are preserved some of the precious glazed terracotta by Luca della Robbia.
In Badia Tedalda is also the Riserva Naturale dell'Alpe e della Luna.
Traditions
In Badia Tedalda is celebrated every year the Festa di St. Michele Arcangelo the patron saint of Badia Tedalda, where is the Mostra Nazionale degli Allevamenti di vacche Chianine IGP. This party takes up the tradition of bridge Presale, a fraction of Arezzo who arranges for over twenty years the cattle fair of Ranco.
