Founded in 1954 by Silvano Calistri and wife Valdivia is a family run business for three generations. Sapaf Atelier 1954, crown jewel of Florentine craftsmanship today is led by Andrea Calistri with his wife Luciana and her sons Leonardo and Niccolò.

Is a leather goods company constantly updated, which, however, has kept firmly rooted and traditional techniques. The strength is in being able to anticipate trends without ever betraying its own nature.

There are many lines Sapaf 1954, "replicating the natural evolution of the line" of 2015, is the line "Heritage", a collection in which history, craftsmanship and modernity create a perfect combination. Recognizable by the central band in gold leaf decorated with pattern Sapaf liberty, it too is made with the mould and the press by hand.

The Heritage line, as emphasized by the name, retains a wealth of knowledge and emotions that were preserved during the sixty years of history and which are included in individual Sapaf creations.

Over the years they came "Twin Peacocks" and "Class", two lines that distinguish an evolution for the brand image Sapaf with their spirit glam and contemporary design.

Their implementation is based on principles of quality craftsmanship that the company remains faithful for over sixty years. "Twin Peacocks" is the collection that reveals the soul of Atelier Sapaf 1954 rock. "Class", shows a vintage design thanks to the original 80 's metal parts.

Latest addition is "Marine 1988", a remake of the sea signed Sapaf bags that have depopulated in the years ' 80. Conceived in 1988 for the fair Promopel of Tokyo and Mipel in Milan where became a huge success, Marine 1988 represents a real breakthrough in the history of Sapaf. Thus, in 2018, to celebrate 30 years since the creation of the successful line, the company has proposed a new edition created with natural materials (cotton, rope and leather finish) and characterized by the panels embroidered with the reason.
